Our client, a unique software organisation based in Gateshead, is looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join their growing team.

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for researching, identifying and engaging prospective new clients from a range of UK industries.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Finding and developing new leads, identifying prospects, building relationships and understanding client’s incentives for doing business with the company.
  • Effective use of phone, email and social selling to maximise meetings booked and revenue won.
  • Demonstrate excellent time-management skills, being able to prioritize key tasks and never letting opportunities slip.
  • Be an engaging and effective presenter. Capable of demonstrating the products fit, whilst removing objections and sharing knowledge.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong team player.
  • Tenacious, motivated and driven to meet (or exceed) expectations.
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing.
  • Previous successful Sales experience.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, confident and comfortable talking to stakeholders of all levels.

This position requires someone who has experience in and an understanding of the digital and web industry, specifically SAAS (Software as a service).
