Our client, a leading marketing and PR agency in their respective field, are looking for a dynamic and assured PR Manager to join their successful team based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

As PR Manager, you’ll confidently manage several key client accounts at once, as well as delivering integrated communication campaigns in both traditional and digital marketing. You’ll bring your experience of PR into a B2B climate, liaising with both national and international clients.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Add additional B2B PR experience to your client’s in-house team.
  • Liaise with colleagues, clients and media contacts daily to drive campaigns forward.
  • Build rapport and professional relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Planning, development and implementation of PR activities for clients.
  • Copywriting for a range of platforms including blogs, web copy, articles and award entries. 
  • Researching, securing and writing features, articles, blogs and comment opportunities in key media.
  • Manage and support junior members of the team to support their professional development.
  • Taking a ‘digital first’ approach, considering SEO and online visibility in all activities.
  • Help identify and nurture new business relationships, draft proposals and pitch to new clients.
  • Supporting the PR line manager in facilitating business development & improvement of the company, both internally and externally.
  • Make use of existing contacts to support growth of the business.

Skills & Experience:

  • Ideally 3 years of agency experience in a junior or mid-level PR role.
  • Experience working with B2B clients.
  • Experience managing multiple clients of varying budgets and sizes simultaneously.
  • A qualification in a related field (PR, media or marketing related subject, or English language)
  • Strong account management, presentation and client communication skills.
