Our client is searching for a natural-born networker familiar with account management in the FMCG sector to join their Client Services Team in Newcastle. The right candidate will be working for a well known and well respected creative digital agency, with a large focus on client acquisition as well as building upon existing key relationships.

This is a predominantly client-facing role and the successful candidate will be one of the key points of contact for key clients on a day-to-day basis. You’ll have excellent organisational skills are vital to keep projects running on time and on budget, in addition to proven commercial ability and a solutions-focused attitude.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • To consolidate and optimise current account management.
  • Working alongside the client services team to explore new opportunities to help grow the business.
  • Attending industry based events to outreach into new and existing markets - this role involves travel on an estimated fortnightly basis.
  • Managing projects and growing networks.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for the assigned group of top tier client accounts.
  • Ensure clients derive a maximum value from the agency’s services.

  • A background in a sales / buying environment.
  • A natural relationship builder and networker.
  • Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills.
  • Solid project planning & organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail & good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise own work load and work under pressure.
